Space Tourism Is Closer Than You Think

September 2019

Swiss Space Tourism launched their ‘100 Tickets for Space’ challenge to mark the 50th anniversary of the first man on the Moon.
Boris Otter, a future space tourist, is challenging all astronaut enthusiasts; a challenge whose five winners will receive a real ticket for space in one of the first sub-orbital tourist flights in history in 2020. The price for a ticket for space? US$100 (just over $142).
At the end of this Project, 5 persons will fly to Space to cross the Karman Line at an altitude of 100 kilometers.  A chance for 5 Spaceflight Participants to watch the Earth from Space during a 4-5 minute weightlessness environment, receiving later on the Official Diploma and Wings of Commercial Astronaut.
The amount collected via a crowdfunding campaign officially launched the Space Project Worldwide. Quoting Gene Kranz (former Flight Director during Apollo 13), "Failure is not an option"
